Freedom to express oneself and to ‘be who we really are’ can be surprisingly restricted. It goes along with ‘freedom to tell the truth’ – our truth – yours or mine, to express our opinions and to behave, dress and ‘operate’ in the way which suits us, you and me, without being criticised or ‘held to account’ by people who think we should, in the situations or circumstances we find ourselves, be behaving differently.
Quite often people will ‘take offence’ at what we do, say, or wear. Quite often when we comment on something which hasn’t gone according to plan people will take on guilt (justified or otherwise) about their failings – “if the cap fits . . .” and either ‘reverse blame’ it on us or say we shouldn’t be mentioning the subject, and even delegate a third party to ‘have a quiet word’ with us!
You and I are individuations of the Universe, our own unique and infinite entity. No other has the ‘right’ (I dislike that concept) or power to dictate how or what we should be, whatever the context or circumstances.
Are you feeling restricted or criticised? Do you desire to release your inner self? If so, book a clarity call (https://lifemasterynow.as.me) and we’ll talk about how we may be able to help.
When we stop conforming to the expectations of others, we find a real expansion in our understanding of who we are and what we’re capable of which transcends the constraints of ‘society’ and ‘culture’ and we can be who we really are, provided this doesn’t have too much of a negative impact on others.
