It Started in Baltimore

It all started around 10 years ago when I attended Mary Morrissey’s ‘Dreambuilder Live’ event in Baltimore. Part of the exercise was to do a ‘Time Machine’ visualisation of where I would be in 3 years’ time and an idea came to me.

Six months later I was back in the USA on Mary’s ‘Dreambuilder Coaching’ course in LA where I qualified as a Dreambuilder Life Coach – a certification I upgraded over a further two weekends in LA

While in LA among the 200 or so people on the course I was blessed to meet up with a few other Brits and Europeans who had much the same vision and we decided to work together, so in February 2018 we hired a stand at the Best You Expo at London Olympia – a sort of coaching and therapy trade show, where we set up as ‘Life Mastery UK’. This went well and we repeated it in 2019 as ‘Life Mastery Now’ to reflect the Europeans among us.

This one didn’t go well as it had turned into more of a ‘speaker fest’ than a trade show and the footfall at the stands was way down. A couple of us decided to do something different and I rebranded as ‘The Freedom Academy’. This was in 2020 – the year of the ‘great interrupt’ which rather slowed down our progress.

Five years on – now – the Freedom Academy has launched and is ‘open for business’.
